The second wave of users has just been onboarded in Passage Elite!
After officially launching with our first paid users in June, Closed Alpha has been a humble success.
Our “Wave 1” users have already hosted over 150 events with over 1,000 user hours for education, community, and entertainment.
Now, we’re excited to welcome our next group of teams using Passage to level up their events, sales process, teaching methods, and team meetings.
Here are some of the unique use cases we’re excited about in Wave 2:
Fully remote learning has its challenges, and Three Division was looking for new ways to engage their students.
A creative agency specializing in 3D design and production, Three Division also hosts a 3D Accelerator Program to teach students 3D design and animation.
The team designed “The Lab,” an immersive Passage world for hosting workshops and showcasing their 3D work.
In the Lab, students can engage with the course content in a hands-on way while learning the cutting edge of the 3D industry right from inside Unreal Engine 5!
When it comes to event planning, organizers often have to make the choice between virtual or in-person.
When the Nebular Summit team was looking to add a meaningful virtual component to their in-person event, they looked to Passage to make it happen.
The Nebular Summit Kickoff took place the evening before the event in July, marking the first-ever conference hosted in Passage.
We had a great time hosting Cosmos thought leaders from Saga, Osmosis, and Rollchains, and brought in over 20,000 views to the event across social media!
Sales meetings don’t have to be stale meetings.
This is why Disruptive Rain is tapping into Passage to enhance their software sales process.
Disruptive Rain helps companies gain a competitive edge using artificial intelligence and the latest in technology and software—so using a platform on the cutting-edge of virtual collaboration was a natural transition.
Imagine meeting with your team face-to-face with immersive graphics to review products, layouts, and more in 3D.
That is exactly what an architecture professional is looking to do with Passage, replacing stale work meetings on Zoom or Teams.
Beyond providing a more engaging platform for team collaboration, future connections to Autodesk API will enable his team to bring engineering and architectural models into Passage, and review designs with his team.
Since launch, we’ve added a variety of new spaces for teams to gather in.
From the custom Nebular Summit exhibition hall, to a Fall Guys-style obstacle course and cozy campground for DnD, there’s a world for every meeting or mood.
We’ve also had a blast testing out new functionality and features with our community and other partners, including 3D characters and selfie-mode!
Next up on our roadmap: we are so close to completing our integration with Akash Network, which will bring major savings to Passage users, reducing hosting costs by over 50%!
Token gating is also on the horizon, so teams like Huahuaverse and Strange Clan can give exclusive world access to NFT holders, along with avatar customizations and queued, single-link entry.
We’ll be onboarding our third wave of partners soon! Are you interested in getting your own Passage world, or do you know someone else who should be using it?
